The simplest way from downtown Victoria to Mayfair Shopping Centre is a BC Transit bus. Mayfair is at 3147 Douglas Street, between Douglas and Blanshard, so it sits on the same main road that runs out of downtown.
Which buses stop at Mayfair
The mall’s website lists these routes as serving it: 8, 30, 31, 50, 70, 75 and 95. From downtown, a bus heading north on Douglas Street is the natural choice, and the 70 is on that list. Service patterns shift with each schedule change, and evenings and Sundays run less often than weekday daytime.
Driving and parking at Mayfair
Mayfair sits on Douglas Street, which is the Trans Canada Highway, and the other side of the block is Blanshard Street, which is Highway 17. From downtown you can follow Douglas Street straight to the mall. A map app will show current traffic.
The mall lists more than 2,040 parking stalls. Main level parking is reached from Blanshard Street or Finlayson Street. Rooftop parking is reached from Tolmie, Finlayson or Douglas streets. Taxi, drop off and pickup
A taxi or rideshare is handy if you are carrying bags. Mayfair has a pickup and drop off lay by along Douglas Street, so a driver can stop right at the mall.
