The easiest way from downtown Victoria to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Suites is by car or taxi. No ferry is involved at any point.
Getting there by road
Downtown Victoria and the hotel are both on the south end of Vancouver Island, so the trip is an ordinary drive by city roads. Enter the hotel’s address into a navigation app and follow it, since the final turns are best given live. Roads around the area get busy on weekday mornings and late afternoons, and a map app shows the quickest way at that moment.

By bus from downtown
BC Transit buses run from downtown Victoria to many parts of the city. The right route depends on where you start, and routes and stops are adjusted from time to time. Taxi and rideshare

Cycling in from downtown
Victoria has a network of bike routes, and cycling between downtown and other parts of the city is common. Look at a cycling layer in a map app to find quieter streets and trails, and allow for hills. Arriving from the mainland
Those coming from Vancouver cross on BC Ferries to Swartz Bay and then continue by car, bus or taxi. The ferry crosses to the Saanich Peninsula, not to downtown Victoria, so allow for the drive or ride from the terminal. The BC Ferries schedule shows current sailing times.
