Walking down to Canada Place
Downtown Vancouver slopes gently north toward Burrard Inlet, which makes the walk to the hotel mostly downhill from Georgia Street or Robson Street. Point yourself toward the water and the white sails of Canada Place, and you will find the hotel right next to it. Pedestrian crossings and sidewalks run the whole way, and the waterfront views start a couple of blocks before you arrive.

Taking a taxi or driving

TransLink buses and SkyTrain serve the downtown waterfront. For a short trip in dry weather, walking is simplest and needs no planning. With bags, in the rain, or at night, a taxi to the door saves effort. Transit makes sense mainly if you are already coming in from outside the downtown core.
