Mount Pleasant is close to Olympic Village, so the trip is short whichever way you go. The Canada Line stops at Olympic Village Station, and Mount Pleasant sits within walking distance of it and of Broadway City Hall Station. Buses fill the gaps when you would rather not walk.
Walking or riding to Olympic Village Station
Olympic Village Station is at 525 West 2nd Avenue, at the southwest end of the Cambie Street Bridge. It has a single entrance on 2nd Avenue. If you are starting near Broadway and Cambie, you can walk to either Broadway City Hall or Olympic Village station, depending on which side of the neighbourhood you begin.
Buses that serve Olympic Village include Route 50, which runs westbound on 2nd Avenue toward Waterfront Station, Route 84 in both directions, and Route 15 on Cambie. What is near the station, and when a taxi makes sense
The False Creek ferries, Aquabus and False Creek Ferries, call at stops within walking distance of Olympic Village, at Spyglass Landing and Stamps Landing. That gives you a pleasant way to reach Granville Island or Yaletown if you are continuing on. Outside the station entrance you will find a public art piece called Le Banc, a sculpture that doubles as a bench.
