From Richmond Centre to Steveston Village it is about 7 kilometres and roughly 15 minutes by road. TransLink buses also run to Steveston from Richmond Brighouse Station, which is the Canada Line stop beside Richmond Centre.
Bus from Brighouse Station to Steveston Exchange
Steveston Exchange is on Chatham Street at 2nd Avenue, in the heart of the village. Several routes link it to Brighouse Station: the 401 via No. 1 Road and Westminster Highway, the 402 via No. 2 Road and Blundell Road, and the 406 via Railway Avenue and Granville Avenue. The exchange also has buses to Riverport and to Bridgeport. Because Richmond Centre and Brighouse Station are right next to each other, you can walk to the station and board there.

Driving into Steveston
Driving is quick when traffic is light. Parking in the village fills up on sunny weekends and during events, so expect to circle or park a few blocks out. Read the posted signs on each block, since time limits and rules vary by street.
Taxi to the waterfront
With luggage, kids or a restaurant booking, a taxi is the simplest way to be dropped near the water.
