Set your navigation to 61 Filberg Road. The vehicle gates off Filberg Road are open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as of 2025, so plan your arrival inside those hours if you are bringing a car. Parking arrangements are not listed on the park’s main page, so call the park office on 250 339 2715 or check filberg.com before you go if you are coming with a large group or a trailer.
Entering on foot after 4 p.m.
Once the vehicle gates close, the park asks visitors to use the pedestrian gate off Comox Avenue. That makes an evening stroll from the centre of Comox easy, and it is the way to go if you want to catch the waterfront late in the day. The lower washrooms by the beach stay available after the upper ones close at 4:00 p.m.
The administration office is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., which is worth knowing if you have a question about events or the lodge itself.
Taking the bus in the Comox Valley
BC Transit runs the Comox Valley Transit System, and its routes include service to the Comox Mall exchange on Comox Avenue at Ellis Street.
