The Canada Line runs from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to downtown. Trips that start at YVR carry an extra charge called the YVR AddFare on top of the normal TransLink fare, and TransLink has raised fares in 2026, so the amount changes over time. Check the current fare on the TransLink site or pay by tap before you board. The ride to Waterfront Station takes about 25 minutes.
Taxi
Taxis leaving YVR charge flat zone fares for trips in Vancouver and Richmond. Since October 11, 2024, the Canada Place and Downtown zone is $46, and that figure includes a $4 Premium Location Charge. Other zones range from $24 for the Sea Island zone up to $51 for the North East Vancouver zone.
